GatorWell Health Promotion Services applies health promotion strategies to educate UF students on health and wellness topics relevant to the college experience. Their mission is empowering UF students to be healthy and well through prevention.

U Matter, We Care

The U Matter, We Care initiative aims to assist the University of Florida community by connecting individuals with available care related resources and programs focused on health, safety, and holistic well-being.

Counseling and Wellness Center

The Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) believes that the college years are a time for change, growth, inquiry, and development. Their office strives to help students learn the skills to cope with the stresses of change and growth so they are better able to learn and thrive after their time as a student is over. The CWC’s services include traditional, group, and couples’ therapy as well as consultation, crisis services, outreach, biofeedback, and more. Their interdisciplinary staff is here to support students finish their educational programs successfully and achieve their personal wellness goals along the way.

Office of Victim Services

Office of Victim Services provides a support person for anyone who may become a victim of crime while on the University of Florida campus. A victim advocate is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide support for victims of actual or threatened violence. All services are free and confidential.

Title IX

Title IX states that: No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. The Office of Title IX Compliance at the University of Florida provides leadership for Title IX activities; consultation, education and training; and helping to ensure the university responds appropriately, effectively and equitably to Title IX issues.
